SamePage not only makes it easy to contribute content but also makes it extremely intuitive to organize the content in different ways thereby providing structure and flexibility at the same time. Through hierarchies and user-defined tags, users can create informal taxonomies and the multiple browsing options ensure easy access to the content. Pages can also be copied, moved, deleted or renamed as a part of content organization.
- Hierarchical OrganizationWiki Pages within a Project can be organized hierarchically allowing the wiki to be organized in a tree structure. Links to Child Pages of any Page are always displayed at the bottom of the page.
- TaggingPages can also be tagged by users thereby allowing easy categorization. Tag clouds are automatically created showing the most common and important tags within a Project.
- Linking & Link RefactoringPages within and across Projects can be easily linked. As Pages are renamed or moved within or across Projects, all the internal links automatically get refactored.
- Multiple Browsing OptionsPages within a Project can be browsed in multiple ways - hierarchically, alphabetically, chronologically or based on Tags. This ensures content is always easily accessible. This is in addition to the powerful search for accessing relevant content.
- Page Templates & SectionsThe content within a wiki page can be neatly organized using pre-defined page templates. The Include Page plugin can be used to include the contents of another wiki page into a given page thereby facilitating re-usable page sections.
- Copy, Move or DeleteWiki Pages can be copied or moved to exact locations within or across Projects. Users with the right privileges can delete pages. Page deletion always takes into account the back links to the page, thereby preventing broken links.
- Orphan & Wanted PagesSamePage also support advanced wiki concepts like Orphan or Wanted Pages. Orphan pages are those which are not linked from anywhere. Wanted Pages are those pages which do not exist yet but have been created as suggested links.
- User PreferencesUser can also set his preferences to control certain aspects of content organization like Project display filter, Items per page etc.
