Project Workspaces Project Workspaces
SamePage facilitates a systematic and secure way of introducing wikis within an enterprise through distinct project workspaces. Role-based access to projects and delegated administration ensure that these workspaces can be securely managed and administered by business users without the need for IT intervention.
  • Unlimited ProjectsAny number of Projects can be created within an instance. Each project is a Wiki with its own repository of wiki-pages and related assets. System Administrators can optionally control the rights to create projects.
  • Role-based AccessGranular Security ensures that users get access to different projects based on their roles and access privileges. Project owners can add/remove members who get read, comment and edit privileges for the project. They can also specify access privileges for non-members and anonymous users.
  • Project OrganizationOnce a project is created, the wiki pages can be organized in different ways - hierarchically, chronologically, alphabetically or through Tags. Additionally, projects can optionally have separate sections for Discussion Forums, News and Issues management.
  • Project AdministrationSamePage gives comprehensive Project Administration capabilities where the Project owner can define or modify project attributes, add or remove members and even perform Advanced Actions like re-indexing or re-publishing the Project. Project owners can also delegate project administration rights to specific project members.
  • Project News or ForumSamePage bundles in wiki-based applications for special content types like - News, Forum threads or Support tickets. Project owners can optionally enable these sections for their projects.
  • Archiving & Offline BrowsingThe Project owner can also archive the project in different formats - as HTML, PDF or zip files. HTML and PDF formats can be used for offline browsing of the project while the zip format can be used to re-import the Project or even migrate it to a different instance of SamePage.
